Who we are
It all began in 2005 with a cabaret act called “One Night Only.” Little did we know that this would be the birth of what would eventually become Anagram Entertainment. In 2006 Jack Gardner, Karen Cole and Nathan Sykes took themselves out of the bar and into the theater and Anagram Productions was born. After several successful shows in Dallas, Jack and Nate decided to move their act to Florida and re-christened themselves Anagram Entertainment.
Every organization must have a motto, mantra or guiding statement. We feel the following embodies our work and our fuels our passion for the theater:
To foster new and emerging talent, and to bring to life the classic and forgotten works of the theater canon.
We believe that theater encompass all works, be it Dramatic Theater, Opera, Dance, Music or the Spoken Word.
Sally Rose joined the company in 2011 and Anagram Entertainment has redefined and refocused our mission. Our goal is to provide South Florida with quality theatrical productions that enlighten, entertain and amuse. We work hard to showcase local talent and foster the growth of young actors and singers. We look forward to bringing theater into the lives of the residents of Wilton Manors and Central Broward County for many years to come.
We hope that you, our guests, will take this journey with us. And we hope that it is as much of an adventure for you as it is for us. We dedicate our first season to the dedicated efforts of our original founding members, without them we would not be here.
